a couple of questions

Hey i was just wondering

1. I was thinking of making a map with the dota heroes where it's just a hero arena and no creeps because i heard a lot of people saying that they would like to see something like that, but could i somehow get in trouble for this cause they're DotA orginal heroes or could they be used?

2. if thats 1st ones ok would it be possible to somehow open a dota map because every time i've tried it's said the file is too big for WC3 Editor.

You can't use the DotA heroes in the map, atleast not without permission from the creator of DotA.

DotA is a protected map, the reason is that they don't want people editing it.

Well, since DotA is made by someone he probobly don't want to see he's well balanced and original heroes and abilities in custom maps he has never even heard of before. You can't enter the map because it's "protected" (using speach signs since you do can open all maps as long as wc3.exe can run them). Ask the creator nicely and he might share them with you or make the hero arena himself.
