A question about my pc..

I have an old pc without an agp slot. I also have a agp video card.
But, someone told me if i rip the back out of my computer i could use the modem slots to put in a agp video card AND it will work.

Is this completely true or absolutely false?


Also could i fit different ram into my pc? xD

No, it will not work. Also, it's possible to damage your motherboard.

And yes, you can fit a different RAM, but you need to define how different from each other.

Like, if you mean DDR 1 GB to DDR 512 MB, that's fine. But, if you mean DDR to DDR2 or DDR3, it's incompatible.

and by "different ram" different capacity/speed yes, but different generation (ddr, ddr2, ddr3) or different size (204 pin laptop ram or 240 pin desktop ram) won't fit (ddr, ddr2, and ddr3 also have a different pin arrangement)
