Ability attach special effect

I'm pretty sure that what Love-Nature needs is buff management and you've all failed to explain that manner except for GFreak45 here...

art caster applies the effect to the caster at the specified points (ie: blizzard attaches frost to the hands of the caster) the art target applies it at the target (ie: bloodlust makes it bigger and attaches red to its hands) is that what you needed? and btw, do not respond like the post just before my last again, you will quickly see people turn on you who are trying to help

But he never mentioned that those effects are Buffs...
You see some abilities that last over time apply buffs on targets / casters, and the special effect these buffs have can be modified in the object editor -> buff section, you can also create new buffs with custom effects for you ability

Stop being so paranoid around posts, if you do not posses knowledge on the matter being addressed please abstain yourself from posting useless info and then claim for thanks, you can't do that
If by any chance you think you do had the answe and turns out you were wrong you still can't claim for thanks.
And posting stuff like this "Sorry for trying to help, I will not make that mistake again." transmit very misleading messages... You just could have asked "I didn't quite understand your problem, please explain in depth" and there would have been no conflict.
IMO Love-Nature's first post explains pretty well what is he trying to accomplish.

we dont worry about thanks we worry about people being rude on the forum, it pushes others away, honestly i couldnt give 2 shits if someone says thanks as long as they arent rude when we try to help, and what was posted was definately relevant to the topic and without getting more in depth as most people should we wouldnt have known what he wanted? you frequently get more pissed about people posting generic questions

Certainly the best ability to create a effect without a buff that shows itself. It can also be used to increase movement speed and attack speed, like Endurance Aura does.

have you tried it with another effect? and what is the spell?

did you look at the original spell for the effect? is the way yours is inputted the same or alike the original spell?

Adding effects to items is easier
Create an ability based of "Item Capture the Flag" its under Item type abilities, modify the Art - Target values and add it to your item's effect list.
Report back with results.

This is the ability added to the Item wich the Hero will pick up and there will be the attachment.

From the ability :

Art - Target (atat) = Tryed lots of models
Art - Target Attachment Point 1 (ata0) = Tried : weapon,right,weapon,left,hand,right,hand,left,origin,chest,head,overhead
Art - Target Attachments (atac) = 0/1

But nothing.

Depends on the ability you're using, please try creating a new ability like i said and adding it to the item (the ability doesn't do anything), items can have multiple abilities.

if you are using an aura i dont believe target is the units it affects, i think you need to apply the effect with the buff

One thing, it only adds the effect to one hand,but i used : hand,left,hand,right.

how many points did you allow? every time you add another attachment point you need to up the max ammount, and worst case scenario you could do 1 with each ability
