Also, I've heard that you cannot host if you do not have a static IP address. Mine is dynamic, they told me, and I can't host games, even with my firewall off. I could with my old internet, but currently I've sacrificed this for speed
Uh, the first two "Ways" MUST be done in order to host, they're not just optional...
And yes, you CAN host with a dynamic IP. Having a static IP will help greatly with forwarding your ports, but if you have dynamic it will also work with hosting games.
