You know u need to make loads of modified spells for a single map. i feal it as a pain to fill all the tooltips manually.

When i made a custom spell and i use oıto fill levels i get this kinda codes like:
<AOs2,DataA1>

But this does not indicates the values in the custom spell it maps the values on main spell and if you modify the fields and ad new levels this codes dont work...

how can i find the codes that indicates my custom spell?

lets give an example:
this is the codes of frost nowa,
Blasts enemy units with a wave of frost that deals <AUfn,DataB1> damage to the target, and <AUfn,DataA1> nova damage. Cold damage slows units' movement and attack rate for <AUfn,Dur1> seconds.

AUfn:
fn means frost nowa but what does AU for? DataA1, DataB1 and Dur1 will be the same that indicates the demage duration ect walues in the spell that is mapped with <AUfn..

any opinions or anyone knows how to map custom spels

<AUfn,Dur1>

i think

AUfn means
Ability Undeath frostnova

by the way that does not helps on custom spells
:(

I was going to start a new thread to post my question, but then I saw that this one was open, and I guess my question fits here, anywho:

I want to display a decimal value in my tooltip using those tags, how do I do it?

More clearly:
If I use <ANdb,DataD1,%> That would show 7% in the tooltip for Drunken Brawler, but now I want to use <ANdb,Datab1,????> To show a DECIMAL value for his crit multiplier, such as 1.4

Thanks,
dArKz

Hah! nevermind guys I got it, you use a period.

eg:
<A00P:ANdb,DataD1,.>

    News portal has been retired. Main page of site goes to Headline News forum now
  • The Helper The Helper:
    I am working on getting access to the old news portal under a different URL for those that would rather use that for news before we get a different news view.

    https://www.thehelper.net/pages/news/ is a link to the old news portal - i will integrate it into the interface somewhere when i figure it out

    Need to try something

    Hopefully this won't cause problems.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Hmm
  • Ghan Ghan:
    I have converted the Headline News forum to an Article type forum. It will now show the top 20 threads with more detail of each thread.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    See how we like that.
  • The Helper The Helper:
    I do not see a way to go past the 1st page of posts on the forum though
  • The Helper The Helper:
    It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with the pagination.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    It SHOULD be there so I think it might just be an artifact of having an older style.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
  • The Helper The Helper:
    I don't really get that article forum but I think it is because I have never really seen it used on a multi post thread
  • Ghan Ghan:
    RpNation makes more use of it right now as an example: https://www.rpnation.com/news/
