AAAAGH! 7 STRAIGHT LOSSES! Because of BSERS!

Jeez, these jerks exist just to troll us in the most horridly devastating way ever. I wish there was some way to make it so they can't play you in a random team game. They should be playing the game to play the game, I mean, we're trying to win, and this guy goes and kills all his units to make it unbalanced. It sucks when you're on their team...

Wow. 7 losses? That's pretty bad. Make a seperate account, befriend the BSer, find out where they live. Then bomb their house. That'll teach 'em.

BSer? Sorry not up to date on my acronyms

BS = Bull Shit, i think you can gather what kind of people they are.

BS'ing is joining a random team game and screwing over your allies, either by killing yourself, feeding the enemy, or physically attacking your allies. One of the most uncool things you can do.

I think thats somewhat impossible to do since people with a comon sense would be like. "Wtf are you destroying your items?"

In warcraft terms; to "BS," is to back-stab or teamkill.

BSing is a common part of battle.net, after you play a few games you get used to it.

I don't play melee games, but I understand how losing a lot will affect your score/record. BSers are far more common in custom games, because either the players take the game extremely seriously and people like to take advantage of that, or they are looking for exploits.

I have BSed once or twice myself, not on the Melee games but on the custom games where the score really doesn't matter. From the BSer's point of view, the angrier your allies and enemies become, the more you want to do. Most of the time when I do it (Again, this is very rare, normally I'm open to the idea of any sort of map that took more than 30 minutes of effort) I want to see how people react. If they ignore me, it gets old fast and it dies down. If they make a huge fuss over it, I'll either keep going or get disconnected by the host. Sometimes it's fun to have a few extra enemies who can or can't fight back.

In some ways, BSers can be good in the custom games. If you've got a BSer in your new map, I would consider it somewhat of a blessing, actually. They are there to exploit any single hole you've gotten in your map, and that can help you find places to patch up. Have you neglected a trigger that stops you from attacking allies? Are there ways your creeps can follow a route they shouldn't? One guy requested that I build my "master building" (The one which trains your actual builder) in a spot in his little alcove during my new Maul. After convincing a few other players to do the same, he sealed off the exit. All of the invincible builder producers worked to block off his creep's path, so all ground rounds were cleared for him. The bug was fixed in the next version. In a way, BSers are the other beta testers, the guys who look for exploits and possible pitfalls in the map rather than looking for gameplay options and balance issues.

Of course, this is purely for custom games; BSing in Melee games I highly frown upon, even if it's the other team and giving me a free win.

I love BS'ing in melee games.

I had some guy shittalk me for 20 minutes straight. So funny.

That sucks.. But on some occassions you can avoid it by leaving the game when you see your partner's username as I_KILL_MY_TEAMMATE or something similar to save you the trouble.

I play only custom games and I really don't see the point of getting angry because of a some young kid fooling around. If it happens all the time the most possible reason to it is that you take the game too seriously.

I know it is sometimes good to take games seriously but too much is too much. If others don't play hardcore why should you do it? After all you are not playing for money, for someones lives or anything else but for your own fun. If it is not fun, stop playing.

Wasting energy for beign angry some little kids is simply stupid and only feeds them to "BS" more.

PS. Thank you for explaining the term I didn't know before. Now I am one thing wiser than before reading this thread. ;)

Ugh. I only teamkill in halo ;)

I laugh at melee players though. I get called a noob when I grab 3 gold mines and build no army except a bunch of goblin sappers, but then when I own the other team's base everyone's like LOLOLOL OMG U PRO!11

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
