Can anyone help making day time based skill?

Im almost frustased with my skill.It like balanar skill number 3 (whatever that name) when night he become fast as light, when day he are difficult to see.

about 3 days i make both gui and jass but it causing many leak and lags.can anyone help me construct it? mmm maybe new one

First you make boolean variable and then you make an even that shows that it day then set the boolean variable = true. So whenever something is supposed to happen at day you set the condition to the boolean variable you've made.

Event - time of day becomes 6.00

Conditions -

Action - "your variable" = true

not about that, my problem are with the spell. how can they active only during the night or during the day? my problem here im using about 3 spells and 3 triggers so it causes lag when i try with my friend

make the spell fully triggered then use the conditions
IF
Time of day less than 18
time of day greater than 6
THEN
Do nothing bcuz is day
ELSE
Do damage and slow

then how about increasing movement only in night? i do have test with unit current movementspeed+blabla but after the unit dies it wont increased again.

The thing is that you store night time in a variable.

So if you want something to happen to during the night you make a condition that says that your boolean variable is true thus detecting the time of day.

Trigger:
  • Night Time
    • Events
      • Game - The in-game time of day becomes Greater than 18.00
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Set NightTimeCheck = True


So if you for instance want to create an ability that does something special at night you set the condition to NightTimeCheck = True. That means you detect if it is night or not:thup:

Not sure if I missed something, but this should work. It checks every 2 seconds to see if something needs doing.

Variables: RandomUnitGroup (Type Unit Group), NightSkill (Type Boolean) and SkillLevel (Type Integer).

Edit: Should be obvious, but the hero used is a Dreadlord, the two skills are Day Stalking and Night Stalking.

Trigger:
  • NightDayStalker
    • Events
      • Time - Every 2.00 seconds of game time
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Set RandomUnitGroup = (Units of type Dreadlord)
      • Unit Group - Pick every unit in RandomUnitGroup and do (Actions)

just give the hero a modified endurance aura with 2 levels - 1 level that grants bonus and 1 level that grants no bonus at all and set the ability level according to game-time instead of adding/removing the skill (it would annoy with displaying icon all the time)

Depends if you know how icon placing works or not. If you don't know how, then it'll fail nonetheless. If you do, it'll be fine.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
