hello ,

am doing rpg map and am asking for this trigger how i can do it :

when the boss attack he have 30 % chance for do a custom spell .

every second if the boss didn't move he got buff ( that's buff give him 10 damage ) and can be stock every second if he didn't move .
for example : if he stay in same postion for 3 sec he got buff 3 stock and get 30 damage .

that's buff can be remove after 50 sec .

          • Random Less than or equal to 30.00
        • Then - Actions
          • Unit - Order (Attacking unit) to ( "ORDER STRING OF YOUR CUSTOM ABIL" ) (Triggering unit)
        • Else - Actions


Random is a real variable, but you can use an integer instead of a real, of course. "BOSSTYPE" is the type of your boss, and you can check your abils order string in the object editor (select your abil, and there is a box there: "Order string: Use/Turn On")

ok what about the second thing .
and i wana ask how i can let the boss do spell for every 5 attack , i mean when he attack he got number 1 over his head after 5 attack he got number 5 then use spell . like charge .

Attack is an integer variable. If your spell targets a point instead of an unit, then use a new point variable like in my first example.
Don't forget to use "call RemoveLocation( <YOUR POINT VARIABLE'S NAME HERE>)"!!

are you using custom values in your game yet?

if not that would probably be the easiest way to do the floating text count.

just add a count every time it attacks, and change the value. But when it gets to 5 then remove it and shoot off the blast or whatever, shouldn't be to hard.
