Hi there, i know i have done this before years and years ago, but i cannot figure for the life of me how it worked, and what i did. so help will be greatly appreciated

I have a Hero unit. known as the Death Spire. Its base unit is a building and has the origin attachment location.

The unit has very low damage, BUT has 4 auras, 3 with 3 tiers. and 1 ultimate aura.

The Auras, and the unit itself, have an Acquisition range and an actual range of 1000.

BUT i cannot figure out how to make the aura effect to show for the whole 1000 range. instead the aura is tiny and only goes around the unit by about 50. Instead of covering the whole 1000 i would like it to.

Any help? Thanks for your time

You could create a dummy unit with the aura's model, and increase its scaling value.

Hi, thanks for reply, and yeah thinking on it i can..

But i know there is an option SOMEWHERE in the editor that toggles the sizing.

I don't think one exists for attachments. Only of the model itself.

I dont know what options i had before, but a long long time ago, I made a 1000 range healing aura before the game errored and i lost my settings. and it simply scaled up the effect to match the size of the aura.

I just do not remember what i did. Perhaps i did make a new dummy

I apologize if i misunderstood the topic or if you meant this Kaerf.

But by increasing a hidden dummies Scaling Size, all attachments and abilities cast have an increased size. (Visually)

Hi thanks for response. But i'm sure there is also a way of increasing the visual size of the abilities, without scaling the model. I had it before by accident, and i didnt create a dummy to do it.

Any ideas?

The dummy's model (if it has one) will also be scaled up, and so will attack projectiles. That's what I meant. I've been looking through the editor fields, and have yet to find a way to increase visual size. The only other possibility is Animation - Set Unit Size, which I believe only changes the scaling value in-game.

Yeah, I thought that was what you meant.
With the normal WorldEditor there is no way to change the model size of projectiles of attacks and abilities. It scales off of the size of the units scaling size, which can be changed by that Animation function that KaerfNomekop mentioned.

Unless you want to change the units size, the easiest method is still dummy units.
