Custom script qwestion (Complete)

any one know how to make a custom script for this?

• custom script code
  • Events
    • Player - Player 1 (Red) types a chat message containging -test as An exact match
  • Conditions
  • Actions
    • Custom script: If Player02 = Alive Then
    • Game - Display (All Players) the text: Yes blue's hero is alive!
    • Custom script: Else
    • Game - Display (All Players) the text: No blue's hero is not alive!
    • Custom script: Endif

Ehh...i don't think you can make custom script...but you can make it in jass...btw:i don't know jass
Anyways you could use If / Then / Else
If Player02 is alive then display etc...

that is the problem: use If / Then / Else
i can't find it in there or some one kown where i can find that function
that why i post "how to make a custom script for this?"

What do you mean with "player alive"? Controlled by a user? Actually in the game? A specific unit alive?
You will need to look up the functions for these things. (checking if a unit is alive can be done by

if GetWidgetLife(udg_YourUnit)>0.405 then
//do stuff
else
//do else stuff
endif

And for comparisons always use "==" and not "="

Under actions, just make a new one choose If/Then/Else (Press I as a shortcut)

It's comparing it to true or false, so it would be under boolean. You will need to set variables to your players' heroes so that you can compare whether specific units are alive or not.

well, a boolean would be probably the easiest way, but GUI/Jass hybrids are a little... Pointless.
I can only see people doing that if they didn't want to read 10 extra lines.
