I'm really happy that Adult Swim has decided to put on Death Note on...
Even if its an English Dub now I can get legally without paying for it

I only collected the English manga for like forever ^^

Main Storyline
A Very bored high school student Genius (Hes the number 1 student in the country for many years in the row) Light Yagami has gotten very bored with everything...
He is tried of the rotten news of murder over and over every day he calls the world rotten itself...

In till he finds a book called the Death Note
Inside it has Instruction (and a few rules which you will find out soon)
It says

That the person who name is written down will die...
You must have the persons face in memory or it will not effect the person this way people with the same name will not share the same fate.
You will also get a short amount of time to write down how you wish for them to die, if you do not fill it out they will simply die from a heart attack

As of course no one would even think that this was real but he decided to test it out on murderers and criminals to find out that it is actually the Note of Death. But the real owner of it is a a Shinigami named Ryuk.
Light later says that he will be the "new god of the new world"...

But the criminals deaths are not to be noticed and soon the Japanese NPD (National Police Department) where Light's father is chief of.
Needs extra research help which they hired the best of the best an agent named "L" to find light or what the public calls him "Kira"

But Death note is suppose to be a very short anime compared to bleach

This is a great anime. I got addicted to it until it ended, about 36 or 37 episodes later.

Just keep in mind they will always surprise you no matter how It never gets boring imo.

Dubbed Deathnote... English Dubs are usually really bad. I've seen all the episodes of deathnote

@ Ninja Sheep - I know the manga is better... but still the anime still rock XD

@ Romek - Trust me I have seen horrible Dubs and this isn't one

Lol, the worst dub every is Probably One Piece. closely followed by Naruto.

I like both intros too the second intro is just... mad.

Naruto is actually a pretty well-done dub. The problem I have with this is that people criticize Naruto's annoying kid voice. I've got news for you people - Naruto is an annoying kid. While not every voice may be appealing, they certainly fit the characters.

One Piece...well, I won't be defending One Piece.

FMA was a good dub, Evangelion is an Ify dub but its ok

his voice is too annoying...

and the translation for dattebayo (forgot what it is) is completely inaccurate .

dattebayo - is a way to end sentences in Japanese you can use it or not... For Naruto the author used it to make him end his sentences, Notice no one else uses that word in the series as far as I know

Words in Japanese are added to the end of sentences to make the sentence sad, or happy etc.. Dattebayo is one made up by naruto. You can;t translate it at all
