Dialog Issue

Ok im using a dialog menu as a way to shop. When my unit casts the dummy ability for it my screen jus darkens like it would when a menu is there...but there is no menu to be seen. Is this because it doesnt work unless tested online? or..?


heres my trigger...

Code:
Shop Ability
    Events
        Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability
    Conditions
        (Ability being cast) Equal to Shop 
    Actions
        If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
            If - Conditions
                (Owner of (Casting unit)) Equal to Player 1 (Red)
            Then - Actions
                Dialog - Show Shop for Player 1 (Red)
            Else - Actions
                Do nothing
 
hey, from the sounds of it you have a trigger else-where that creates all the dialog buttons and box.. but the trigger is a melee init, and as far as i can remember you cant create dialog buttons at map init.. so change that event to elapsed time 2 seconds or something.. :D btw your never on yahoo messenger..

    I have converted the Headline News forum to an Article type forum. It will now show the top 20 threads with more detail of each thread.

    I do not see a way to go past the 1st page of posts on the forum though

    It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while

    Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with the pagination.

    It SHOULD be there so I think it might just be an artifact of having an older style.

    I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"

    I don't really get that article forum but I think it is because I have never really seen it used on a multi post thread
