No, I do not. I personally feel that everything related to ghosts and paranormal stuff relating to them is all completely mental. People psych themselves out so much at the idea of ghosts, that they constantly believe they're having ghost-related events, but they are not. If you psych yourself out enough, your brain will tell you that you hear/feel ghosts. It's completely possible, just humans don't use their brains enough normally to harness it normally.

The mind is a very powerful thing, you'd be surprised what it can do...

Although I'm an atheist, But there are certainly some things out there You can't explain it.

If a invisible force would throw things at you, but there's nobody there
or simple open your door when it close and lock. such a thing.
You can't say it's your mind that cause those things to happens. Right?

Don't you belive that "paranormal phenomena" have strange ways to get our attention? LOL

Btw: what you say about aliens out there?

No... but those are unrealistic things. I'm talking realistic things that are actually possible, without the use of drugs. Like how if someone is sick or thinks they're sick, a doctor can give a placebo (fake) pill and tell them it's medication, and because the person believes it to be a real pill and doesn't know otherwise, your body will actually put more focus on healing that part of your body and getting better, because in your mind you think it was real and you're putting less stress on it subconsciously. This doesn't work with everything, and I'm not trying to say it does, but there are many things that people are given placebos for and it actually helps them, through the use of mental trickery. Lol

Btw: what you say about aliens out there?

Aliens? Yeah.
Aliens like you're thinking, that look like people and what not? I'm sure somewhere there may be, if the universe is really "endless".

But I'm talking aliens, as in just a general lifeform of any sort, plant, animal, anything. Theres got to be at least one other plant or something somewhere else, you can't tell me something is "endless" and we're it.

"No, It Isn't" In this case. Tell me how can that be unrealistic things? There's not even drugs involved they didn't get any placebo drugs to trick you mind. That a door would slam shut behind you or front of you. eh?

You said it yourself that hallucinogens can cause you to see things that aren't there. All those drugs do is create chemical imbalances in your brain, these imbalances can arise in other ways too, thereby creating the illusion of what you think are paranormal sightings.

This is the proof! Ghosts really do exist! Thanks, Romek!

Just Poor cat, has to live with complete hmm "fake ???"

Ghosts don't exist. Prove me wrong.

I'm not denying the idea there are other...things?...here. However, I am denying the act of "ghosts" the way people make them out to be. I don't feel that there are some paranormal beings that just go around and fuck with people and things all day like people seem to make "ghosts" out to be. I am open to the idea of something like some kind of energy existing in a "afterlife", something as complex as the human body can't just go out 100% upon death, even plants and other objects are put to use in other ways after death.

This isn't my standpoint on this, just an idea that I'm open to.

I have had my share of dreams that later turned out to be predictions of the future, I have even aced some tests because of them. They are mostly because of my surroundings where to predictive back then.
A couple of weeks ago I had on for real though, there has been 3 occurrences from that dream that I could not possibly predict because I knew to much. They even involved three people I had never even met when I had the dream.

I have experienced way to much in life to be able to rule anything out at all in the paranormal category.

Ghosts don't exist. Prove me wrong.

To me they do. Not in a I have a ghost that is haunting me way though, it is more of a I have memories/"ghosts" from my past that keep haunting me and will for the rest of my life.

I get a deja vu approx. 3 times a week.
You will be surprised of what the brain can do.
Who are we to say that everyone but that "psychotic" homeless man is the insane ones?
What if we are all insane?
Can you prove that I am not dead, and you are all imagining this?
I think not.

> What if we are all insane?
Then nobody's insane.

> Can you prove that I am not dead, and you are all imagining this?
Even if that was the case, our understanding of what 'dead' or 'alive' means is relative to what's around us. If you're moving or breathing, you're alive. Nobody cares otherwise.
For all we know, we could be in some Matrix-thing, and when we die some random glass tube in an alternate dimension explodes, lights up, and some crap pours out... However likely that is though, I'm not going to start substituting "My grandma died" with "My grandmas alternate dimension glass just popped and exploded, and her crap poured out".

Well, I think they are paranormal Proof of something exists. Can anyone disprove it?

You can't argue like that. If we've got no reason (proof) to believe in something, we shouldn't. It's hard to disprove something that doesn't exist, especially something such as ghosts.

"Ghosts" I'll believe it when i see it! "Maybe"

You can't disprove something that you can't prove ever existed in the first place. So the door moved, prove to me that it wasn't the wind. Prove to me that it wasn't because the door hinges aren't straight. I personally feel that "paranormal ghosts" as people know them are peoples ways of making "fun" out of coincidence.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
