DotA strategy question

i came to the conclusion, if you want to pick early heros and not lategamers, you should always pick some heros which can push quite well ....its kinda sucky if you kill the enemies with your int heros again and again, but cant really push to the end, and they get stronger and stronger caus they have some lategamers....
UNdying is a good option in my opinion ...hes really nice for pushes ..and well ...he wont die ....he should be combined with a ranged hero, which is good in early games, and has either summons (for even more pushpower and as a buff for soulrip) or some disables (furion, lina, lesh)
