Yeah, I'm starting to add more of them between the range v0.5 to v1.0. How's the map? I believe on Saturday, you may get some free times.

My server is really slow, I can hardly get past 22 Kilobytes at the peak.

They're not dead, just that I live in a developing country, and not in USA. A country where people just say: "It's Taiwan."

Found two bugs with orcs



When you first choose your race you have a wisp. If someone attacks that wisp it dispears and doesnt come back. Is this supposed to happen or did you put it like this? I find it a bit unfair.

1. I don't know how to set the tooltip stuff. All I know is that for some reasons, my input strings didn't come out. I'm trying to check on that, ever since v0.4 was out. Maybe it was the language type conflict or something, but with the help of trb32, the UI Folder shouldn't give me any problems now.

I'll work on it for the next release. Google translator, help me...:rolleyes:

2. I admit I put it like that. That way, if a player is playing a game, then they found out some slots are empty (meaning they don't have players in that slot), once they attack them, it would just remove the player.

Specifically, I don't know how do you remove a player at start, but I'm thinking of a few ideas. On the next release, there will be some changes in the removal of the players, but I don't know if you like it or not. :confused:

Well, as far as I know, Bnet is pretty impossible to use without at least a base of 23k... I had 56k on it many years ago, which worked kind of fine, though.

Ah well.

Fixed the bug mentioned by xfirenzx. And changed how starters reacted to attacks.

But, out there. So many RPG ideas had been taken away.

I'll make a new series of maps once Footmen Wars Mini series are totally over. Awaiting your test results about the map...:D.

Updated ----> v0.5b

New features, maybe minor, but can really affect original gameplay.

1.
Changed how you earn your money, unlike usual Footmen Wars. This is to balance out pros and newbies. Be warned, pros.
2. 100000 golds = 1 lumber. You get to 100000, and your golds will instantly be converted to 1 lumber.

Bug #5, which is the models not correctly placed due to collisions and pathing errors, had been fixed.

TODO: Need to know why there's no Incomes, when it worked while testing.

EDIT: Fixed the problem, made map more efficient and removed another bug; Your 100 000 gold -> 1 Lumber Conversion did not work

Also there are some lines I do not fully understand, like

The variables you edit in the GUI are all Global ; )
You don't need to do that. One thing though.... I never saw that you initialised the kills[2+], only number 1. Please do that in map init ( for each integer A from 1 to 12, do : set kills[ integer A ] = 0 )

Btw, you can kill your own units to increase your income : D

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
