ok everytime i try to go change the teams the players are one at the force menu it locks up the whole program. any idea on how to get it to stop?

Does the editor freeze permanently or just a while? If it's just a short time there's no problem, just it takes time to save the changes on slower computers.

Might it be a bug or something? Mine freezes sometimes for about 10 secs then everythings fine again.

in rare cases editor freeze permanently due map corruption, you shoud replace w3i (and some other) files or use backup map.

map corruption? would i have to redo trigger and units?

looks like i have restart all over. hoping i can salvage the triggers.
