Good maps?

hey folks!
I'm searching good maps
but its not as easy.
The map should have a community big enough to play inhouses sometimes.
If the map is delay dependant it would be good (not necessary) if the community is using GGC or on Northrend.
The map shouldn't be an AoS.

Maps you shouldn't post (for different reasons):
island defense
sheep tag
footy
worldcup of warcraft
dark deeds
parasite (2)
vampirism (all kind)
Night of the dead

edit: y, I know there are similar threads, but since I dont feel like checking out every single map in them if the conditions I wrote here are fullfilles I make a new one.
editedit: oh, and RPGs only if they aren't only pointles farming (quests where you just slaughter through monsters are farmquests imo)

Try city of drugs even if you dont like loap. It has a strong and balanced multiplayer. However, you may need some time to learn the map (well, just like the most great maps)

Elimination Tournament - really fast shooter.
Genesis of Empires II - very indepth rts with a huge world.
Legacies: Tides of the Serpent - my favourite ORPG
GO FiSH - really cool fishing simulator
Castle Fight - a kind of AoS with no heroes
Sim Ant - 2 ant colonies at war

Before Oblivion9 hacked gaop.com, one could easily download all these from there. Nowadays one has to search.

Battleships that are not recommended to play ( imba maps, really unfriendly mapmakers ):
-X
-Psycho
-Expressions
-Allstars
-The early speedmods
-The hacked classical, known as 5.0 ( the weapons and items are imbalanced and desync strongly from the tooltips )

Most of the other interesting maps have been posted anyway.
For communities, look for clans 13s and gaop in US west and east and for boat and cpt in europe. The asian server has a large community too, but I'm not too deep into these so don't ask me anything.
There are other battleships communities, but the good sailors try to keep away from them. They gather bandits, lamers, spammers and flamers. Don't take on them, it is just a waste of time.
