hiding skills on a hero

My hero is an elemental summoner. He summons units of each of the basic four elements. My trouble arises with his level six ability, wich is to summon 1 of each elemental.

The issue is how to hide the skills that allow the level 6 ability to work. I've tried to deleting the art and placement for them...but since they are a part of the character when you acquire him, the passive abilities hide the actual hero abilities.

Anyone know how to make it so the passive abilities aren't ever seen on the character?

You want to use the spellbook ability. It allows you to add up to 11 extra abilities to your hero, and hide them all. Do a search for spellbook tutorials, there are many of them.

Go to the Object Editor->Abilities->Special->Item Abilities and find the item ability spellbook

There you will find multiple things, which you can read about here http://www.thehelper.net/forums/showthread.php?t=34530

When you're done making you're spellbook Add it when it's needed (when you cast your spell or whatever ^^)

Then, Use a trigger saying

Player - Disable Ability for Player (Owner of Casting Unit)

The ability ofcourse is the spellbook. The passive skills will be retained until you remove the ability spellbook. Have fun&Welcome to the forums ^^

Some abilities have the option to hide the icon; although spell book is usually best.
