It looks quite nice. I would add some doodaads. Like a fire and some broken cages to imitate the look "some prey have escaped from here".

Wow... Fast reply. Anyways, I said it was a rough copy... I will be adding shops, towers etc... later on...

The Creatures haven't 'escaped' or anything, they were free already - it's just that now, there are people hunting them :D. This screenshot is of a base which the Hunters have set up as a 'resting' location during their hunt for the Creatures - due to them... terrorizing nearby citizens?

Well, basically its true. But only for the first time when the map is played.

Because when you complete the game and catch all the creeps, you win, right? But when you play the map again, you got yourself some free and running preys therefore they have escaped:D

You should make the hunter types exclusive. You dont want the massive pile up of players on one type of hero. Then again you could leave it fully open, if you see people all piling on one hunter type then you know there may be some imbalance issue.

Personal play preference is give like 8 hunter types and roughly the same amount of prey classes. Being the prey will get tough, youre practically picking the side outnumbered.

I usually build my class choicses for players like this.

I start with a diagram, a circle. Then I place zones on the circle. Example would be a circle with 8 points. Physical opposite to magical, Offensive vs Utility/Defensive, Melee vs Ranged, Slow vs Fast... lots of ways to balnace things like this.

Alternative ways to win are a must have IMO. You dont want to have this become a standoff, nor do you want to leave the outnumbered monsters being boxed in and hiding forever.
I just jotted these 4 pairs down in a circle, from top and around I have Physical, Fast, Utility, Range, Magic, Slow, Offensive, Melee.

The more physical a player is, the less magical ability they have. More physical also means less range and but faster moving. More magical means Slower and with more range. More Utility/Defense means less offense, but faster moving and ranged, while Offensive means slower moving and melee range.

A scout class or a Healer would fit in the Utility spot well. While Assassin style classes typically are pure offensive. Youre straight fighter or knight class is physical type and your pure nuker mage class is of course magical towards the slow side. Its a good little diagram to work off of.

I'll make it so that you can only have one, or two of each kind of hero.

Yeah, but the Creatures will be very powerful, and will almost always win a Hunter one on one - or even two on one. :D

Wait, now I'm confused a bit.
The Creatures are out numbered by the Hunter?? Shouldn't it be the other way round. Since, really, there would be more Creatures in a forest than Hunters. The Prey should be more of the great number army, which can reach impressive amount of units, and the Hunter the more strong, but clearly outnumbered group.
Isn't this the deal? Or other way around?

Yes the Creatures are outnumbered by the Hunters - even though, yes, there are more Creatures in the forest than Hunters.

It's the other way around. :p.

BTW, how do you do your terraining? Like, do you do all the important places first, and then connect them with less important filler terrain? Or do you start with the most important and work your way towards the other places? (I hate terraining -.- )

For terraining I always start out at where the map is going to start at (though I do more SP games than MP so it makes more sense  ) and then bridge out. My advice is to do important places first (like you said), and then their surrondings, and connect them and all.
The biggest problem I've had with terraining is that sometimes you need to give people places. simply just to move in. Important places can't be too close to each other, and armies must be able to walk freely between the trees (nothing to narrow to cause difficulties). :)
