i downloaded a model file or skin that has a virus!

i have downloaded a model file thing from www.hiveworkshop.com and now everytime i go into world edit my warcraft shuts down and sometimes the left side of the box goes a blood red! i also dont know which one it is because i downloaded every single attatchment from the hiveworkshop at once last night!!!

please help me destroy this model file that keeps making my world edit freeze and turn red and shut down!

If yes to both of those, you are a Moron (with a long n sound at the end of it).

Seems harsh, but I'm pretty sure that
1: The hive would notice these when they TEST THEM IN THE WORLD EDITOR
2: There are thousands (possibly tens of thousands) of imports; I highly doubt it's possible to get them all in 6 hours, getting 1 download every 10 seconds.
3: I believe it's possible, but very unlikely that a virus could be installed by importing the file into a wc3 program.
4: Ya, some guy who enjoys making viruses just wants to corrupt your we, not your computer. Yup.
5: The file doesn't seem to have been removed by complaints of people having the same problem.


Hopefully you'll catch onto the sarcrasm, but that might be expecting too much out of you.

i just realised this has only started to occur since i uninstalled WEU and also i deleated all those model files i downloaded and it still has errors on that map, i then tried another map and that has not had the error, i am beggining to think it is WEU or the file with the error has corrupted my map!!! or maybe i have imported the virus model on my map... help would be appreciated

If you are using WEU with version 1.21 patch, that is the problem. Delete WEU then re-install Warcraft III.

lol, have you ever been called a dick head? ignorant? up-yourself? if you havnt i'm calling you all three now.

i am only wondering this because a rfiend told me it may have a virus, also i havnt been on any untrust worth internet sites and it has only occured since today when i have been testing the models files i downloaded!
