I want to say attack animation?

So I have a space fel orc (sfo) . I want his attacking animation like the human flying machine. I tried changing the projectile art but that didnt work. I even made a custom flying machine, changed the majority of its stats on par with my sfo but once i changed the modle animation to the space fel orc he starts using the flame thrower. I swear Ive changed the attack animation before but that was a long while ago.
If I'm not making any sense just let me know.
