Hey is there a way to make an item cost more than 100k ?
(thats the max the editor will allow ?)
pretty much the problem is sometimes the game looks like it can lead to a stalemate so i need a game breaker item, but it needs to cost about 1million...
I don't have WE so I can't try if this works. Try holding shift, then double click on the cost of the item before editing, usually this allows you to go beyond the default limits. If that doesn't work, maybe you can make a lumber work as 100k gold in your map. Let players "buy" lumber for 100k gold each, then make your item cost 10 lumber, that would be 1million.
Holding shift before selecting usually allows you to place bigger numbers. It also allows negative numbers. Be careful with this because this can sometimes cause problems in your game.
Unit Sells an item
Item Being sold/manipulated equal to Sword of Kickass
Players (owner of hero manipulating item) gold greater or equal to 150000
Actions
Hero - Create one item of type Sword of Kickass for hero manipulating item
Player - Set Property Remove 150000 gold
I don't think you can change the actual gold cost on the item, but something like this would work for the cost. ^^
No. there is nothing in the gameplay constants.
Why don't you make everything cheaper?
You can't have items ranging from 1c to over 100k.
That would just make cheap items almost free.
This is unless your game is orpg that is really long.
If not just make every thing cheaper.
EDIT!! I've seen somewhere icons have been added to the tooltips. You could add one that looks like gold an make it say 100k but is actually 0. Then trigger it to see if you have the money and then take it and give you the item.
yeh, i check the max gold on gameplay const bt thats only fro gold mines
and my map is a melee map so its based on mining so it all has to be relative to the peasants ability to mine.
haha yeh, bt this item is a late game item that will only be used as a game breaker.
most other items are within the 20k-70k mark.
i have things like gold and wood generating buildings and some races can build gold mines with their stocks of wood haha - and with ups each peasant can take back up to 70gold per bag.
Ghan has said he has fixed this. Monovertex please confirm this fix. This was only a problem with people that had signatures in the upper levels like not the special members but the respected members.
