item skills

hi all,
for my new map i what to be able to give the towers invtory spots that you buy items for them to give the skill (the idea is based off Paladin TD)

maybe this helps im not so sure...

You create an tower human,orc,night elf etc...and add an inventory slot in object editor-then on unit on right side it writes add ability.And add ability so that tower has slots and then you create items your custom items which have effects and all that...but the problem is im not so sure if those effect's of item will work because tower is only an normal unit so you could create an hero tower with no voice and no movement speed (set to 0) but only problem with hero tower is that you will have on left side icon of tower....:D

that allows me to slecet the diferent spots?

update:

ok i have worked out the ivtory space but how do i do the skills on items to work on it :)

almost what i need to define things i what to have a building that sells items and the towers hold the item whitch is the attack (the tower bacaly acts as a dummy for the tower)

it needs to be sell-able lol and i what it to be items and not automaticly go to skills so i can limit the amounts of atacks

Adds when item is gained
