The damage was just 40? But it is 50 in the tooltip....

And, the Rusty Mining Pick item is just wicked :p 11000g for a few hundred % of Command Aura :eek: Why would anyone want to buy that? People will save money, but in that time people will get owned. Strange item. Anyway, cool effect :D green aura

ok, i've decided to help you with this project as you helped me on mine.

i've beta tested v1.02 on single player and the only hero i've tried for now is the grand knight.

here are some suggestions for the knight:

Pierce : for more effectiveness, you can add +movespeed to the hero as he dashes to the target.
: for more efficiency, turn of collision for the caster so that he can move to the target more quickly. also remove collision on the target as it is knocked back. and kill destructibles in the knockback path.

Shield : i think it's bugged because it works on ranged units far-away from the caster. check the condition that the attacker is a melee unit for more realism.

that's all for now.

EDIT:

the first thing i noticed is that some of your abilities lack some oomph! / effects / awesome factor.

Mainly these : (haven't tested other heroes yet though)

Sonic slash
Kelen's Dagger
Kelen's ultimate
shield crash
sun rider's ultimate
kein's ultimate
blademaster's lightning strike
some more...

some tips:

Kein : why is it HE? it looks like its a HER.

Sun Rider : use an inverted revive effect for the effect.

Rohan : MF - works on ranged?
provoke : looks too similar to dota.

BTW : hey what did you do to the game camera??? it looks different for me. it has a different effect while panning.

LotAL is also cool and I have the old LotALs in my comp as well.

I've skipped the new rigged Barrack Wars for a while I created and focused on a new mega project. Don't worry the new Barrack Wars will have more efficiency and of course more units and unique races. I've been absent in th.net for a long time cause of my project, and so it's good to be back again, but I'll resume work on both maps soon.

I'll keep my project a total secret for awhile since some modders will definitely try to steal map ideas and claiming it as their own. Hey waaaks also be careful about that in your future projects.

I'm now into modeling, in gmax. I'm still making basic models (like silos, turrets and refineries) and doodads and animating stuff, but I'm not yet skillful and just in the training stage so don't make requests yet.

Bump..

OK I'll help you in this project since I too have helped you in Barrack Wars. I'll give out a few ideas for this map and search for existing flaws or bugs.

I'll be releasing a couple of Game Interface tutorials for my tut. set and a Modeling tutorial. Maybe when I finish them the map and all other maps will be better.

Barrack Wars Status​

Barrack wars will have 1 HERO per race and also 1 melee unit, 1 ranged unit, 1 magic unit and 1 siege unit per race and atleast 8 upgrades and Items and Item recipes and JASS Enhanced spells and a Custom Training Queue made by myself. I have removed the AI completely since i don't know how to do non-melee AI.

After 5 minutes playing the game, I've found another bug (or... mistake)

Your 'Magical Warrior' 's ulti, the Endure Magic, still has the Avatar buff.

There could be more, I just started playing 5 minutes or less.

Also, i suggest making the Feedback ability to deal 100% of Mana burnt. Because if your burnt 50 Mana, you only deal 25 bonus damage which is little, especially in the stage where you have 5 levels of it, 25 HP isn't much.

And Feedback actually has a BTN, use it for the Research icon.

for the avatar....its because i changed the avatar tooltip, but didnt work...and i also forgot to remove the buff

for feedback damage, ok ill give it 100% damage

i tried changing the path...but it didnt shows up

Umm I found that the Level 3 sword thing sold for like 375, when the level 3 knuckles sold for 750... Sword cost-2500 Knuckles-1500

Making a loading screen would be a good idea, and something special in the start of map.

(I didn't see any more missiles from snipers anymore :()

for the sword thingy and knuckle thingy....i just forgot to change their gold cost, when combined....ill fix that

for future notes...
im adding an attribute system that each level up will give you 5 stats points that you can spend along with ur stats....

maybe u want to try that after i released it....

Rofl, before you made this version I was going to say to a more exciting project for the towers, but now it's fixed!

Umm.. I noticed you made a forest keeper but I advise you not to make it similar to DotA.

You should make a lifesteal item, sorry if you made one and I didn't realise. Just came back from after school swimming and a half an hour trip back home. Tired :(.

I like the attribute skill BUT I personally think 5 skills points per level is too high, make it like 2 or 3.

I liked the new high swordman guy, he was pretty cool.

Afterall, I rate it 8.5/10 :)

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
