Morphing into a Dragon

Hi everyone, I'm starting a ORPG and 1 one of my heroes is a Dragon Aspect. I've been trying to make a spell where he turns into a dragon for one minute with increased health and damage. However either he becomes invincible or Warcraft has a fatal error. Can anyone help? :banghead:

Well thanks everyone for trying to help, I keep getting a fatal error but ill figure it out.

Normally, I would say NO, insult you, and tell you to uninstall Warcraft, but I like dragons.

The easiest way to do it would be to use either the DH's or MK's Ultimate, and change a couple of values here and there... Not much to it really.

Well I tried that, and the Dragon did appear for a second; but then it exploded and my hero got the avatar bonuses. :banghead:

Anyone know what I did wrong?

Use Metamorphosis, and change the stats given, and the unit that it turns into. That means you need the regular hero, and the dragon.

And don't double post, use the edit button

You can try to do it w/ triggers, and use the "chaos" ability, it changes the model and stuff.

Maybe you can use crow form and just increase his damage and hp.

dont use the avatar spell
use the metamorphosis...then add the values inside the spell

Ok you guys I'm just horrible at making spells and I keep getting a fatal error after giving the metamorphisis spell to my hero.

All I changed in the spell so far was

Data- Alternate Form Unit (Red Drake)

Data- Normal Form Unit (Dragon Aspect)

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? :banghead:

Ya, you will get a fatal error if you use metamorphesis, you gotta do it with a trigger but i dont know it. I tried already with triggs and i couldnt get it, but i do know it will always crash when you try it using metamorph.

I have a trigger for a nether drake transformation around here somewhere, 1 sec...

Then of course you need to adjust the spell itself, like you did, and possibly the unit height.

I was quite sure I had done this before without any fatal errors, so I tried making a quick test to see if I was not dreaming.

Both units are based on the Blood Mage hero, with attributes changed to make one of them into a dragon.

It worked for me at least. Here's the map if you want to try it on your computer.
