My custom image for minimap does not work

I cannot figure this out

i have made a 128 by 128 image and saved it as a tga and imported it into world editor then i gave the custom path of war3mapPreview.tga but it still does not show??? why is this?

I'm not sure, but I think WE is sensitive, try War3MapPreview.tga or War3mapPreview.tga. (You have war3mapPreview)

Both .tga and .blp work.
The correct name for the preview map is "war3mapPreview.tga" (or .blp).
Acceptable sizes are 128x128 and 256x256.

The in-game minimap can be replaced too.
As war3mapMap.tga (or .blp), but needs to be 256x256.


As for "it doesn't work"...
Any kind of compression used? Turn it off.
Anything less than 32bit color?
Try to re-save it in some other image program?

I did exactly as the tutorial told me to right to the letter yet it still does not work. Its saved as a tga, 128x128 no compression and its 16 bit to save space. I use paint.net (different from normal paint) and yes it is a tga file. So what the hell is going on

You are making a minimap, not a preview screen. Change it to 256x256 and then change the path to war3mapMap.tga

how did u fix it cuz i have the same problem... im doing everything the tut tells me to but i still cant get it to work. i looked at a couple of tutorials and the tell me to do the same thing but it still doesnt work, so if u can tell me how u fixed it, that would be really helpful

oh nvm i fixed it too lol.... just turned off the compression when i saved it
