My Spoilers don't always work

Hi I'm having trouble using spoilers. Sometimes, when I put something in spoiler tags, it just appears as a grey box, with no option to close it. I thought it was the WE forums only, but I see some that work in that forum.

Am I using them properly, or is there a bug with the system?

Bug with the system. My spoilers used to not be able to work. They work occasionally

It is to try and stop spoiler spam (spoilers inside spoilers inside spoilers etc...), but yes. I think that is a bug with it.

It's not a bug at all. It's just disabled in some forums and using it will result in the grey box.

I think it may only be WEHZ (and subforums).

Nope, there other forums as well, I have encountered that behavior outside WEHZ.

Does that list include the Member's Projects subforum? My images in my Ghost Hunter thread are in spoilers, but only have a grey background, and isn't under the list.

I am fairly certain that subforums are not included. Notice how both WEHZ and JASS forum are in the list...?

Why is it that we have forbidden forums? I don't see much point to it, other than Webmaster General Help.
