NewGen with Windows 7 ??

hey all....

i have a new PC since a week or so (with windows 7), downloaded NewGen (here in the forum) and tried to start it to work on my map but it always says "An instance of World editor seems to be running already" >.< i tried restarting the PC but no the same message for me... anyone knows why?? or is it just because NewGen isnt working on Windows 7??

I use windows 7 and work fine, probably something in your computer, try to see the Task Manager and see if has some editor <normal of warcraft> opened and finish it

Unfortunately, I don't know what your problem is
However, NewGen works fine for me (With windows 7), so there is hope!

Try running as admin or using compatibility mode?

It should work on 7.


Try opening the Joblist (CTRL + ALT + DEL) and click on "Processes" (or something like that, not completely sure)

Then find a process called "worldedit 121".
Just click on the button in the bottomleft to be able to start NewGen.


If that doesn't solve your problem, try right-clicking on NewGen, and select "Properties", then click on "Compatility" and choose "Run this program in compatility mode for: Windows XP (Service Pack 2)"


If none of that works i have no idea.

it was just my antivirus programm...because it automatically deleted some data it has this problem >.< but now its working xDD
