OS messing up - randomly minimized full screens and unactive windows

I don't know where exactly it started, and I have no idea how...
A few days ago, kinda.
I also googled it, and found nothing, nothing even remotely similar...


So if I play a game (doesn't matter what), from time to time it just minimizes. It's like when you press Alt+Tab (I obviously don't), except there isn't that little thing in the middle of the screen that shows where do you switch active window.

And when... I make a post like this, or write an e-mail, with the same frequency, the window goes "not active" - I can't type anymore, and the colored "thing" (I don't know it's name, you know, The Helper Forums - Post New Thread - <Browser Name>) goes gray..

Although I have no problems going back, it is still very annoying...

At first I thought the Windows Key was somehow stuck (well not the button, because I've torn them out years ago), so I disabled it, but the problem is still there.

What do you make out of it? Thank you in advance..

Are you pressing any specific keys on your keyboard when it happens?

I had a similiar problem a couple of years back when my old keyboard broke, it sent the wrong signals to the OS sometimes and strangely enought caused that problem.

Have you run a Virus scan lately tho? Just in case it is a virus of some sort?

Not pressing any specific keys... absolutely random. I don't even have to press a key.
And I don't think any virus would be designed to do just this... and I'm using AVG, which kept me safe for years, since I began to use it. It's like stapling a condom on your penis.

No, I'm not using iTunes.

It's goddamn raping my cpu, if I'm running a game that was made after 2004...

I discovered something, it happens every 30 minutes.
I start the game (full screen), 30 minutes passed, it's minimized. I can wait a few minutes, restore the window, and it goes minimized again 30 minutes after restoring.

I tried stopping all programs that run normally (msn messenger, deamon tools, etc) and it still did...
Yesterday night it stopped for a while... I have no idea how, I didn't do anything.

Dude, AVG kept you safe from viruses, yes, but it is probably the thing causing the problem here:p
Have you tried updating it lately?
What version do you have?

AVG seems to be aware of the problem and the only current solution is to uninstall AVG and install it again with the latest installation from their home-page, this was in June though, so you could try to update it and see if that gives any luck.

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
