Pheonix Fire + Evasion

THe title pretty much explains it. I need to know if Pheonix Fire is affected by Evasion. If not, is there anyway i can replecate that effect?

I doubt it would be. Pheonix Fire is sort of like Immolation I guess. I'unno, you could trigger Fire and when you go to damage a unit with at least level 1 Evade, run an If on a random number and hit it when it's greater than X%, etc.

try triggering it with a dummy ability, that blocks damage in a chance, just like in DotA, faceless void...

Backtrack is a very lengthy and complex JASS trigger. If he just wants Evasion to check this one spell, it's easier to just trigger Fire.

What do you mean? I meant "trigger Fire" as in just make Pheonix Fire do nothing and create the effects and deal the damage with triggers...

Use a periodic event that fires every an interval of your phoenix fire ability, and create a dummy unit that attacks a random enemy target in a range.

Phoenix Fire = Spell like others one, so : unavoidable
