Quick Trigger question

If you start a trigger initially off, does it have to have an event to work? or when another trigger turns it on is that the event?

Turning a trigger of DISABLES the event, I believe it can still be "Runned" though, unless it isn't in the GUI list.

Check the "Trigger" section in the GUI list for more info on that stuff.

Edit: GUI Style to turn it on is to "Turn on (TRIGGER)".

nub question...GUI? XP is that gameplay constants?

General User Interface, AKA The Triggers you see (unless it's completely text form, like Custom Script is in the GUI trigger list).

You misunderstood his XP for Experience instead of a face, I think. All of it is rather confusing >_<

Click Actions on the trigger editor, look at the "- All -" list, go down to the Trigger section.
Trigger - Turn on (This trigger)
That turns on triggers.

Yeah, first time I assumed he meant Experience but I reread it six times until I decided it was a face.

i am doing that and it doesnt seem to be starting...i have my first wave of creeps working, but when i tell it to turn on the second wave trigger using the first waves trigger, it doesnt work. (The second wave trigger doesnt have an event)...any idea's?

EDIT: man my XP faces are the ruiner of minds i guess lol

You aren't being clear.
I'll make a few assumptions then suggest things.
I'll assume you have several dozen waves in your map.
I'll assume that your waves will appear once then go away.

Have all your wave triggers be "Initially On", ALL of them.
Now, at whatever trigger or whatever that tells Wave 2 to Start, give it the Action
Trigger - Run Wave X <gen> (checking conditions)
X being the Next Wave.
