set movement speed help

well i got a hero tower and i set his movement to 0, its jsut based off a normal hero.

now i watn to add a spell called relocation when clicked would give him a temp speed boost so he can teleport and move around the map. the spell

relocation is based off warstomp, with mana set to 5, cool down 60, deals no damage, and set as hero skill = false.

i added the warstomp to hero and used this trigger.

      • Unit - Set (Triggering unit) movement speed to 350.00
      • Unit - Add Teleport to (Triggering unit)

      • Unit - Set (Triggering unit) movement speed to 0.00
      • Unit - Remove Teleport from (Triggering unit)

i also tried to use this line

• Unit - Set (Casting unit) movement speed to (Default movement speed of (Triggering unit))

the teleport skill gets successfully added, but i cant use it anyway cause my hero movement speed is still 0

can anyone help this noob?

Movement speed set to 1 instead? It isn't noticeable. But may look a little weird.

Or try setting the movement speed to 0 using trigger, instead of Object Editor. However, I think the unit speed will be automatically reset to 1 (not sure). Test it yourself.

if i set the movement speed to 1 in object editor the unit would slowly move down the map lol, i tried that before haha.

but i will try ur suggestion about setting thier movement speed to 0 in trigger.

Is it noticeable? If it is, then go to your Gameplay Constant, and look for Unit - Minimum Movespeed. Set it to 0. You may need to use SHIFT + Double Click for this.

Movement speed at 1 is usually unnoticeable.

Giving ward classification still allows the unit to move. It only hides the unit UI.

Set a variable for Default movement speed of unit at the starting of actions. When you want to revert back the movement speed, use the variable's value.
