Set unit speed past 522?

I've looked around and I haven't been able to find what I've been looking for. I've been trying to push a unit's movement speed above the editors max of 522. I've tried using auras to bump it by 500% and I've also tried changing the units movement speed to something above 522 with triggers, but neither of those work. The unit stays at 522. Is there anyway to make units go faster than 522?
 
Do a search on "knockback" for example.

The only way to get faster is triggering it.
I.e. a periodic trigger (better: timer based) that moves the units...
 
i believe a unit can have upto 800 movement speed.

change the Unit - Maximum Movement Speed - 522.00

to

Unit - Maximum Movement Speed - 800.00 (hold shift while selecting the value.)

a unit with more than 800 movespeed would crash you game i believe..... :confused:

Nope, you'll only get 522 (well, if you didn't change any Gameplay Constants, you'll probably only get ~400 :p) - there's no way to do it via Object Editor, it must be triggered as Ace said
 
Thanks for the help, I'll look into knockback and hopefully find out how to get it to work with what I need :)
 
There is ONE way to make a unit go faster than 522, you will get about 1000 (?) BUT its hard to handle bcuz its the troll batrider suicide spell, you lose controll of unit and it dies eventually (if u dont stop it somehow with triggers)
ive used this for a spell called magic missile storm
I used cryptlord ulti, changed the locust to look like magic balls and 0.5 sec after they spawn they suicide into the targeted unit, they go really fast and look neat when they hit.

I don't know why it didn't work for you, but I have several units in my game with movespeed of 600 by just holding shift click in the editor; thus allowing you to enter a higher move speed.

It's still 522 regardless. There is absolutely no way to increase movement speed more than that value.

    It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while
