That's really weird. I never even figured out how most of those games work. I don't see how fun it can be to push some buttons and say "You made a farm!" I don't even like having a garden in real life, why would I want a virtual one?

Well a lot of the time (based upon privacy settings) you must also be a friend of the person. So I don't think it's that you're not signed up.

Damn straight. I barely have much info on my page anyway, and I certainly don't want any random person looking at that. My privacy settings require that you be added as a friend to be able to view any of the page.
It might seem a bit hypocritical to even make a FB if you don't want people looking at it, but that's why there's a minimal of info on mine. I use it to keep in touch with friends I haven't seen in a long time.
