It is my sad duty this day to inform the members of The Helper's community of the resignation of one of our staff members. I know that I speak for a great many people with I say that it is quite a blow to the site that AceHart has decided to leave us.
AceHart originally joined The Helper under a different banner - "scmaker" - and immediately starting helping out with StarEdit and tech problems. His influence became only more pronounced after he came back as "AceHart" in 2004 and continued helping with Warcraft III in addition to all of the other items this forum had to offer. He eventually became our Friendly Neighborhood Admin and took excellent care of the site's server, being an instrumental part of maintaining all of The Helper's assets from ever present threats. Not to mention all of the updates in the mix.
AceHart potentially had the greatest impact on this site of any single member ever to grace the forums. His massive contributions not only to the site but to the mapping community in general are thus noted in this member's post. I hope all of you will join with me as we wish AceHart a farewell with the hope that he continues to succeed wherever he may go. I, for one, feel privileged that I was offered the opportunity to meet AceHart. He will be remembered.
I might even suggest to create a site page dedicated to his contributions, but I'm sure he would say, "Not at this time. Thank you for your suggestion."
May his memory never fade.
