thick ai (NO BASES!!)

i have made a custom force for the undead side (which doesn't use the haunted gold mine), and have also changed the base building unit from acolyte to Kel'Thuzad (living). in theory the ai should be able to see Kel'Thuzad as the builder and build a necropolis. but in trial runs the 2 Kel'Thuzads run round and get killed by creeps so far away from any useable gold mine! i have some screenshot of the ai command tool attached to the post, so have a look and tell me what's going wrong please.

(Sorry about quality of photos, couldn't do any better as screen dumping was not working)

I suggest you try again with screenshots. I am not reading a sideways pic.

1. Have you read an AI tut?
2. Have you given Kel'Thuzad a building list?
3. I suggest you change the model of the acolyte to Kel'Thuzad rather than use K's unit. Or make a custom unit based on the acolyte and change the model.

Use the Prt Scr button to take a screeney... not a camera.

Alt + Print Scr works as well.
Paste that into a program like MsPaint (or whatever you use) and go from there.

i did say that my screen dumping/screen shotting didn't work. in any form :( it was the best i could do at the time.

i try to do some screen shots tonight, if the comp is not hogged again.....

I think you are experiencing the same problems I had a while ago.

Try the following:

Screen1: change race from undead to custom (this is important to be able to do the two next steps)

Screen3: change the base building and mine building to the ones your race uses

Screen4: change gold worker and lumber worker to the worker unit your race uses

If you use a custom base building, you will also need to add your custom base building to 'Techtree - Dependency Equivalents' on the default base building you are trying to mimic.

Does your worker have the "worker classification"? I don't have WE open right now, but I remember there is a classification value in the object editor, which can be set to stuff like "Town hall" etc. There should be one for worker.

If that doesn't work, remove any attacks or abilities (besides gold & lumber harvesting :p)
