Making them private has no difference in performance but it doesn't mix up your globals with globals from another trigger. And different function names makes it easier to read.

Yes but most of my globals are required in several triggers . I guess I can't priate them this way . I could at least make the arrays for arcs and circles private if I merge 2 triggers . That will let only a few ariables remain globals . Or is there a way to have more than 1 initializer per scope ?
