Units give no gold

Hi everyone :-D

I m still a newbie so dont hate me for this simple question:

I have an 4 player rpg map, where 1 computer-ally of the players and 2 enemy computers kinda like in dota fight with spawning units which attack each other and so on.

now when i made the enemy computers ki settings none they attacked each other, when i made their ki neutral, they were automatically allied with ALL other players :-/. then i added a trigger which adds all players hostile with them and them hostile with all players .

Everyone hates the right ones now, but when i kill the enemy units, i dont get any money ... and i somehow think this is due to the fact that in fact we are still allys and just attack each other due to the trigger.

now my question is, how can i make them drop gold ?
how can i set the right teams without triggering this ?
is there another way i dont know ?

plz NO jass ;>
and answers like use this and that take me usually an hour to figure out so an actual example would be nice if u had the spare time ;D

Use the event map initialization, and use the action Turn gives bounty on for player (x) where x is the player. Maybe not the exact trigger, but it is under player triggers. This will make any killed units give gold like the neutral creeps. You can adjust this gold in the object editor under gold when killed (or bounty).
 
i used

playergrp - Pick every player in (All players) and do (Actions)
Schleifen - Aktionen
Player - Turn give bounty on for (Picked player)

but it still didnt work :-/

yes i gave the units a bounty ;D

sould i make this trigger extra for every player?
this sould enable money for all players or ?
 
It doesn't work that way. Turning give bounty on for player 1 means, that if units owned by player 1 are killed, they will give gold. E.g.

Player - Turn give bounty on for Player 1


Player 2 hero kills player 1 hero. Player 2 gets gold.
Player 3 hero kills player 1 hero. Player 3 gets gold.
Player 1 hero kills player 2 hero. Player 1 does not get gold.
 
As for your 2nd question, look for Scenario menu in the Editor, than go to Forces Properties, than enable Custom Forces, and there you can set up who will be with who and who will be vs who :D

You simply create another new Force,than for example,you put Player 3 and Player 4 to that Force,that will make them allies,and hostile with the other Players from other Forces,to put a Player in a Force,just drag the name into the Force.

That should do i think :thup:

What do you mean by it doesn't work? Are there no little gold +50s or something?

i used different forces but it didnt work out and we were all buddys even in different forces, well i triggered it now and it works for now so im happy even if a little confused ;>

i didnt get money at all

It didnt work with the -pick all players and give bounty on for picked players- and did work with -bounty on for player XX-

For the forces to be at war with each other you have to go to force properties and set it so.
 
another question: what is the difference between mui, mpi and sui?

either i m blind or this question is so simple that u wont find it in the search function :->
 
You should start a new thread for new problems. Anyway....

MUI (Multi Unit Instanceable)
More than 1 unit can cast the spell at the same time and there will be no errors.
E.G.
Player 1 uses 5 units and cast the spell while Player2 uses 3 units and cast the spell at the same time but there are no errors.

MPI (Multi Player Instanceable)
More than 1 player can cast the spell at the same time and there will be no errors.
E.G.
Player 1 uses 1 unit to cast the spell while Player 2 uses 1 unit to cast the same spell and Player 3 uses another unit to cast the same spell at the same time but there are no errors.
Player 4 uses 3 units to cast the spell at the same time, and there is an error.

SUI (Single Unit Instanceable)
Opposite of MUI

Player 1 uses 1 unit to cast the spell but there's no error.
Player 2 uses 1 unit to cast the spell while Player 1 is casting, and there is an error.
Player 3 uses 2 units to cast the spell at the same time, and there is an error.
