Anyone knows where it is?
Thanks

[del]tech-type ?[/del]
Use the upgrade finish event, and in the trigger condition
(Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) Equal To_<The Upgrade Unit Type>

It works for me, you probably have misunderstood me.
You have to put inside the condition the upgraded unit type.

For example townhall -> donjon, you have to put "donjon" inside the condition.

Building Sites
Events
Unit - Main Building Site 0000 <gen> Finishes an upgrade
Conditions
(Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) Equal to Night Elf Base
Actions
Unit - Replace Building Site (Human) 0008 <gen> with a Building Site (Night Elf) using The old unit's relative life and mana

this is my trigger, it doesn't work

BETTER IDEA.
Why not just make it upgrade into a different building like this.
Go to object editor.
Find "Techtree - Upgrades To"
And add the building you would like it to upgrade into.

Read mine its pro'er.
And yes i just made a new word.
Depends what he want ...
Actually as far he said, he just want to detect the end of an upgrade.
I really hope he already knows your "solution" ...

He could just use a unit training instead and if its finished replace it.
But normally using the condition works without any hack.
I hadn't changed the default upgrade though, that's why i want a test map, to figure what doesn't work in his map.

Well upgrading to a new building and researching an upgrade i dont see a major difference.

no..
for example. when town hall is upgraded to castle = lumber mill replaced with barracks by removing the lumber mill and creating barracks to its position.

Exactly, use unit training and on training finish you remove that unit and replace the building that has finished construction of the unit.

isn't that simple upgrading?

i'll try to explain better.

there are 2 smiles :) and <3
:) starts upgrading, when it finished upgrading to a new smile, it becomes

now we have  and <3 , now i want to replace <3 with :p

so i will have  and :p

:) = main building
 = night elf base
<3 = building which i want to replace
:p = replaced building
