Yeah, Blizz really needs to end the FAIL.

My wc3 won't update, anyone have a 1.22 WE around?

Maybe make a petition for Blizzard to implement NewGen into the actual WE, or to modify WE to be compatible with NewGen no prob.

I can't use Bnet, as the updater fails. It can't find the Warcraft III\InstallPath registry entry. It's weird, because I haven't edited anything that could've removed/changed this.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled my wc3 and went on battle.net to update.

Tried updating, but it didn't work. I saved my 1.22 World Editor so it should work, but it doesn't...

Everytime I try to update BNUpdate auto crashes. Could someone try sending me theirs?

Edit: Nevermind. Doesn't work. I'll try again once I've restarted my computer. (It says to do so, though I won't do it now)

It might be v1.21 World Editor for NewGen, but it may not be possible since UndeadDragon installed perfectly.

Edit: I reinstalled and it still didn't work. Something is wrong here.

Edit Again: Thinking back it's seemed to work even with NewGen so this can't be the problem... It may be that the W3XP file that is downloaded when you patch could be corrupted to some people in this version..

Worked fine for me, and my buddy. My idea on this would be that you guys have done something to your WE Install, or some maps, or something like that. That would make it say that file is corrupt ( because of not being the right size ), and it wouldn't update.

I found a weird problem with my updater... If I run it in the Warcraft 3 folder it crashes, but if it's ran anywhere else it works...

im getting problems with the update. it works fine, but then it says something about the world editor. probably cause its like the 1.21 one right?
Would uninstalling wc, reinstalling it, then getting 1.21 WE work? D:

If you don't have all the Update-to-date files in your WC3 install, including WE, it will error.

Get the 1.22 WE in my previous post (#2). Download the patch, replace it back with the old one and you can use NewGen again.

I have a different error than everyone else... My updater instead crashes if ran in the Warcraft 3 folder. I reinstalled, twice, so something seems to be wrong..
