World Editor Language

Please answer yes or no the the question below.

Sevion and me found a way to change the World Edit language.

Q:If your Editor was in another language than the one you want, would you like to change it?
What will change?
Everything will change unless the name of Unit, Spell, Doodads, Buff, Updates, all the thing of this type.
The rest should change to the language desired.

Well it's about that but remove the half of the tutorial.
Means very short method.

why not? it makes ones life easier. Though it really depends, I guess if ones editor is english then they would want to keep it that way so they could use uploaded spells(c&p). Mine is already in english and I currently use english so I assumed that the editor would have to be something like french.

Obviously, people having a any language unless English would, maybe, like to turn it to english.

Edit: No, you can remove it in any time, no installation just adding files in your directory.

If you're planning on making a new tutorial, just edit the old one.
If it's something like "Change NAME to Blah.. For every single field", then it sucks too.
If it's something like "Change WE_LANG = FRA" to "WE_LANG = ENG", then it's all good.

I'm pretty sure I saw something similar to the latter whilst browsing the MPQ a while ago.

Not even it.
Let's say you have it in french and you want it in english.

1. Download a extracted file from war3.mpq file.(Must have been extracted from english war3.mpq)(This is basicly what would allow us to set it in any lagnuage)
2. Create the UI folde in your directory.
3. Add downloaded file into UI.
4. Enjoy your editor

Easy, simple, gives awesome results!

I would not change anything in the World Editor at all. (I only make custom changes to my custom maps.)
-Why? Because I wouldn't find anything afterwards, if I did.
I'm used to the way it looks now, and I don't see any benefits from changing stuff around.

Installing the game in a different language does the trick.




But I believe most will stick to what they're used to.

Many people with foreign, non-English editors would want it in English though.

All sites are for English editor. When copy+paste trigger text, if it's not English, they have to change anything.

To all who answered "my editor is in english, I wouldn't" : Read the question again.

Must Add -

World Edit, in any other language than English, is Traducted well, but has half of the parts in English which kill the readability.
This is one of the thing which made me want to turn in completly in English

1 week from now that I use an complete English and it's lot more Enjoyable, for example when you copy+paste triggers. Or when you follow tutorials which for most of them are in English

No, you can delete the files or rename etc and restart WE. It will go back to original language/settings. It will, instead of using files in the UI folder, use the files in the MPQ. Placing files in the UI folder overrides files in the MPQ

Yes, it's annoying having someone post their trigger in some other language.
