Air units unavailable?

I made a map in the world editor but when I tried to play the map, I noticed that I was unable to build air units. The icons weren't even there to click on, and the hotkeys didnt work.
I thought it was the object data I imported from my other maps so I tried resetting the object data back to default. Then I also reset the Game Constants. I tried to make air units again but the icons were still non-existent from the buildings.
Thinking there might be something wrong with my editor, I created a new map from scratch and tested it out. The air units were buildable just fine.
Any ideas why I couldn't build air units?

Check the scenario - techtree properties.

ah that did the trick, didnt know they were set to custom techtree... i wonder what caused it to change? Oh well, thanks
