Map size too big

What should i do if the map file is too big?

Is there any program or something able to be used to make the map file smaller like winzip?

Why dota can stil be played while it's map file was over 4MB??

The max map file size is 8mb since patch 1.24.
What is the size of your map atm?

oh isee, bcuz i am using the 1.21b version.

I got my 1.24b version but it causes error :

- The frozen throne can be played and works propally
- But the world editor causes error when you save the map.

I really need help on thsi problem~!

I don't know all the technicalities, but its because they changed alot of the coding around. Sad to say, but either (1) you have to go into your map and rewrite all of your triggering from scratch, or (2) completely start your map over.

I had to start from scratch with my map cause the WE wouldn't even open it after 1.24. Sucks, but oh well, thats what happens with patches sometimes.

What u mean in (1), i think i will try to do it but i dont know how?
is it open trigger edittor and click all the event, condition and action?
