Laggy Map

My friend and I have been working on this RPG for a few days. We have one area done and were testing it out and it became very laggy all of a sudden. I was wondering if this could be form faulty triggers or some other easy fix (hopefully).

please don't post up something that you have problem but yet making us can't do anything to help this, like this case

what do you expect from us by saying those word? instead, post trigger or something that you think that is the main caused, so we can help you with it.

Sounds like a leak to me. Have you read up on leaks and how to remove them?

Triggers that make large Unit Groups without removing them can cause a sudden large lag (as I found out when I began..)

Unlike what some people assume, I don't expect you to magically fix it or w/e all I wanted to know was if someone might know what the cause could be. If I knew what it was I wouldn't have asked.....Thank you for the info on leaks I actually had no idea what they were.

Just a tip, test trigger every time you think you have to. Like every time you are done with one.

yea I did test as I went, but never tested 2 player, when my friend was able to help finally, we realized some bugs as always during testing periods, and then it just started freezing. I tried to do the custom script stuff that was on the tutorial on preventing leaks, but I do not know how to use jass lol. I am still pretty new to this whole WE thing. I am trying, but no idea hwich trigger is causing it. By the looks of what causes leaks, it could be almost all of them haha...

Haha yeah I felt like that when I started as well. Luckily it doesn't take long to fix them up.

For major lag, I'd look for something like a badly coded Respawn trigger of something of that ilk. Any region stuff could also be looked into.

do some testing, disable half of your triggers, if the problem still its there continue and disable half of the turned on triggers etc until you, if the problem is not there, try the other half etc, unitl you only have 1 trigger left, this is the easiest way i think
