cyclone or just faerie fire and then focusing on the mortars would take them out in 2-3 waves, or cyclone to just disable the heavier units until you get alock on the battle situation

siege engines are over armored, only noobs use them because if you use them, you pretty much win.

nothing beats sorcerer/arch mage /mortar tech of death!...except...any real strategy or trusight...
I thought that cyclone made unit invulnerable and couldn't be dispelled?

Not true at all. Mostj nubs can't beat them, but they aren't THAT bad.

raiders, for example, can completely devastate a steam tank force.

I must be super noob if I don't know what Clan Eve is...

What's everyones win/loss record, anyways?
My total is like 49.6% or around there. However, I had my account since it came out, basically, so I have alot of dumb losses on there.

Against computers. Look at it hero to hero, however. If another hero comes after you in a harass game, the DH will win because it'll drain all the spell mana, and has plenty of hp.

I can't play otherwise :p. That's why my tactics are good against computers :p.

this is for b.net solo. :-/

k lets talk about countering Undead for NE. i usually have no problem but 1 day while having bears, dryads a Dark Ranger and a Panda, my undead enemy totally smeared my army to the ground with Mass Wagons, Aboms, Ghouls DK and Lich. The wagons totally destroyed my dryads, i think i had too little bears cause they all died before they even go near the enemy heroes. So, basically, my bears got nuked by coil and novas, thus i end up being defeated.

I forgot the very good quote: " When in doubt, use cyclone" lol.

anyway how do you htink i can counter that kind of undead army i stated above?

try using human rifle men, knights, and footmen, human units = usually good against undead.

I think this topic was about NE StratS? Not about HumaN?

However, I think some Mountain Giants might do well, and some Talons for Cyclon and Faerie Fire, and as they don't have anti-air, you might get some air too...

Just my opinion...

I've never really liiked mountain giants, the cost of them is just so high, that if you can't expand, they really are a pain sometimes to get. And in 1v1, if they rush or aggro at all you might not have the time to get them. Plus bears can turn back to druid form and use regeneration, while mountain giants are best when u fully get all the upgrades, and you are looking at alot of rsources spent

yeah, playing night elf is totally different in a FFA as opposed to 1v1 or even 3v3. They play slightly similar, but massing archers will not cut it in 3v3 and maybe one in 12 games youll win in 1v1

er.. massing archers could win a game if you got super micro (like Moon :D) for 1v1s.

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
  • Ghan Ghan:
