Order to Bring Up Select Target Dialog?

Is there any way to simulate a player clicking a targeted skill and bringing up the 'Select Target' dialog (where the mouse cursor changes to a crosshair) using triggers?

What I'm trying to do is to authentically reproduce the 'Unable to target **' dialogs (having used up the Ancient and Suicidal classifications). So far, every part of it can be reproduced through triggers except for the part where after clicking on an invalid target it tells you 'Unable to target **' but you are still in the select target dialog and from there you can immediately select another target. In the triggered version, after clicking on an invalid target the select target dialog is lost and you will have to reclick on the skill to begin selecting another target.

Thanks for the quick reply... I was just hoping that it had some obscure order id like those undetectable ones for dropitem.

You might want to check out Game - Force UI Key.
For example, if you "force" Player 1 to press A, that will be the same as if he clicked on the skill with the hotkey A for the selected unit. Not quite what you wanted, but as close as it can get.

Or you could create a dummy unit which is then forced to press a key, so you don't have to add the ability to a unit you are using.

Ah thanks for the idea! It almost worked if not for the fact that the current skill that I'm working on is an item skill which I would need to ForceUIKey(Numpad*) which is not possible... or is it?

Sadly no, you can only force letter hotkeys.
But can't you change it so that you use those classifications with items and Force UI Keys for normal abilities (that is, if you have any).

Yes, that is what I have done but there are more item skills requiring classifications than there are classifications so I guess I will just have to let the players reclick those items themselves.
