An evasion spell that hurts an enemy when he misses?

Hello again, for my hitman hero, I want to make a spell like evasion. The effect is that when an enemy misses because of evasion, they take damage. I was wondering if a trigger like this would work. Im about to test it.

Events
Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability
Conditions
(Ability being cast) Equal to Evasion
Actions
Unit - Cause (Casting unit) to damage (Target unit of ability being cast), dealing 30.00 damage of attack type Spells and damage type Normal

won't work, it will target the Dodging person, and also, change Begins Casting to Channeling

Nope, no way you can detect when a unit evades.

You have to use a damage detection trigger and restore the damage.

Yeah ok. I'll keep trying.

Maybe:
Event - A Unit Takes Damage

Conditions - Damage equal to 0

would that work? Is that what you mean by damage detection?

Actually that wont work


The easiest way (according to me) would be to just make a trigger spell...

the percentage of a miss is 25% on this just change "random number between 0-25"

Events: A unit is attacked

Conditions: Attacked unit has ((your spell)

Action:
Set Hp of attacked unit = hp
If then else:
IF: random integer between 0-100 is equal to = 0-25
Then: set attacked units hp to (hp) + damage done to unit
set attacking units hp = attacking units hp - 20
else: do nothing

[ i made this trigger without worldeditor open so some functions may not exist or may not be as they are here]
