Animation fails to reset

Hey guys,

I have a spell, which forces the casting unit to perform the "attack" animation, half way through it, its animation speed is reduced to 0 for one second, afterwards it is reset to 100% and the attack happens (with bonus effect and damage and stuff).
After one cast of the spell, the animation of the unit is fucked it. As long, as it moves, there's nothing, but when it stands still, it looks like the pictures attached. It stands there while looking like taking a step.
I tried everything, "reset unit animation", "play unit 'stand' animation", doesn't help.

Advice please?

What are your triggers like for the animation changing? You could try reducing the animation speed to a low value above 0, like 0.10%. A pause unit/unpause unit might help too.
