I went prestige last night (to the first one). In the space of about 7 games I was already at level 15-ish. I had suddenly became really good for some reason, getting 20-30 kills a game (I mainly play Team Deathmatch), but since I hit level 20 I've resumed with mediocrity

I can get a pretty good KDR on most maps (except maybe Karachi, I hate that map) using Killstreaks (Predator Missle, Harrier Strike etc..) but I've been trying out for the Nuke lately. I've come close (2-3 kills away) and if I don't get the 7 killstreak to start it off (to get the harrier), I do pretty bad haha.

I also hate Karachi... I just don't know why paticularly, it's just not one I like playing.

I've got a nuke once before, but the game finished just before I could use it. Since then, I've always fallen short by a couple of kills.

I challenge you to get more nukes than me. I currently have 17 nukes pulled off so far.

I have never ever been so frustrated as I am right now with Battlefield BC 2 demo on the PS3 that just came out today.
I know this is off-topic but I feel like I need to vent and starting a new thread is not worthy until I can get a sense of that game.
I get the fucking "Failed to Connect to EA Online" with my PS3 on DMZ while it appears near everybody else is able to play this demo. I don't know why but I just want to play it so bad.

Anyways, I like MW2 even when I'm getting owned.

I am not 18, but was able to buy it from the local store a few weeks ago.

A very great game, tough setting up games might take a while.
The ability to create parties and join games together works well, and both single-player and Co´op have given me hours of gameplay!

I really miss the ability to choose map and server myself, from the previous games in the series. In Call of Duty 6 you have to leave the current lobby, join a new one, wait and hopefully come in a game with the map you want.

As I said, I am not 18, but 16&1/2. Even tough I am under age, I don´t think the game content is too violent for me personally. But! But a lot of persons I meet in-game are 13 and 12. I think that is way too low. One of the first single-player missions, forces you kill a lot of civilians. Corpses, blood and death everywhere. As for me I don´t have any problems with that kind of content, even tough I did not like that mission (Except the ending :d). But 13!? 12! Way to young...

Sry kinda brought back an ancient post, but I was not able to find another discussion thread.

I think a lot of kids (and me) watched R-rated movies when they were like 9... :D

First one I can really remember was Die Hard when I was 10 or 11 or something.

Gotta say though, I think it's a bit different when it comes to games. I think they have more of an impact on the mindset than films. Still, that's for another discussion somewhere else.

Seriously? That sounds like they haven't even bothered to account for the exchange rate...

I personally always defended the $15 price tag (or I suspect it will be £10 in the UK) because of the simple fact that you are going to get a lot out of it in the long run. It's no different than buying songs on Rock Band or Guitar Hero; when you look at their individual prices, they work out a lot more expensive than they really should.

Plus, on PS3, you just need 4 other friends with consoles and it'll only set you back £2/$3 each :D

I hope there would be those 4-pack Stimulus's on the PC too.

Can you explain how DLC sharing work on PS3 again? I've never used it and I have a bunch of PS3 friends with MW2.

It's very simple. One person downloads the item you want, so you all give your money to that guy to compensate him. Say it costs $15, each other person gives him $3 so you've all spent $3. Then, the person with the item logs onto his PSN on each other person's console. They can then download that content again to the other system from their store (click on "My Downloads").

The only limit is that you can only have your PSN ID activated on upto five consoles. Though you can deavtivate it once you've done, you still won't be able to log it onto any different consoles (than the five you have already used) afterwards.

I used this so I could get all my brother's Rock Band DLC onto my own console. It does mean that with a few PS3 owning friends, you can have a lot of DLC quite cheap.
