OK, here goes.

My 'tower' is actually a unit called the Herald of the Tides. The Herald can only be built on the path of the creeps. It is ordered to move back and forth along the path and causes a swell of water to form in its wake. When creeps walk through the water, they are slowed as if wading through a river with a strong current.

I included two levels of this 'tower' and they are shown in the screenshot as the Water Elemental model and the Sea Elemental model.

Alright, here's my tower!

The Fungus Tower!

The fungus tower raises fungi from the enemy corpses. These fungi rot the living and root enemies to the ground.

Strengths: Can hold enemies still, and even block the enemies if placed correctly!

Weaknesses: Doesn't affect air and magic immune units! Weak against magic resistant units!

Sometimes that can be the hardest thing to make! At least, it was for me and my shrooms!
